Join our team as a Soil sample preparation technician! In this position, you will handle sample preparation and analysis tasks in our computerized system. You'll also be involved in instrument and workstation maintenance.
Your responsibilities:
- Verify and prioritize the analyses to be performed, in collaboration with the supervisor/team leader, in order to deliver the results on time;
- Carry out separation steps and analyses as established;
- Perform certain analyses according to established protocols;
- Follow up problem cases and substandard results with the Supervisor;
- Enter data and results into LIMS;
- Perform equipment maintenance according to established procedures;
- Perform various laboratory maintenance tasks (exemple : work areas, inventory);
- Participate in maintaining ISO 17025 standards;
- Comply with quality assurance standards;
- Perform certain tasks in the pre-analytical process;
- Creation of computer inquiries;
- Proper identification of specimens destined for the laboratory;
- Preparation for external shipment of analyses not performed in-house;

Job requirements
Requirements :
- DEC in Laboratory Techniques or Biotechnologies or any other related discipline;
- Experience in a laboratory (asset);
- Fluency in French;
- Knowledge of chemical parameter analysis;
- Organized, autonomous, proactive, able to analyze and synthesize, and able to work under pressure;
