Join our team as a Laboratory technician of microbiological culture! In this position, you will perform tasks in culture media production and quality control.

Your responsibilities :

• Produce culture media;

• Meticulously follow pre-established protocols for the preparation of different culture media;

• Operate production machines;

• Perform quality control of culture media;

• Complete laboratory documentation;

• Maintain equipment according to established calibration and validation procedures;

• Follow up problem cases and substandard results with the Supervisor and notify immediately;

• Participate in the implementation of new documentation tools to improve and standardize laboratory tasks;

• Participate in maintaining good laboratory practices;

• Comply with established quality assurance standards;

• Comply with health and safety regulations;

• In case of absence, replace supervisor by performing certain tasks to ensure continuity and smooth running of operations;

• Assist the supervisor in all quality control and assurance tasks, and properly complete the documentation of these controls;

• Assist in the training of department employees;

Requirements :

• DEC/BAC (Laboratory Techniques / Microbiology / Biotechnologies) or other related discipline;

• Minimum 1 year experience;

• Knowledge of microbiology parameter analysis;

• Must be organized, proactive, autonomous, able to work under pressure and have an analytical and synthesizing mind;

• Fluency in French & functional English (reading documentation);
