Join our team as a Soil sample preparation technician! In this position, you will handle sample preparation and analysis tasks in our computerized system. You'll also be involved in instrument and workstation maintenance.

Your responsibilities:

• Verify and prioritize the analyses to be performed, in collaboration with the supervisor/team leader, in order to deliver the results on time;

• Carry out separation steps and analyses as established;

• Perform certain analyses according to established protocols;

• Follow up problem cases and substandard results with the Supervisor;

• Enter data and results into LIMS;

• Perform equipment maintenance according to established procedures;

• Perform various laboratory maintenance tasks (exemple : work areas, inventory);

• Participate in maintaining ISO 17025 standards;

• Comply with quality assurance standards;

• Perform certain tasks in the pre-analytical process;

• Creation of computer inquiries;

• Proper identification of specimens destined for the laboratory;

• Preparation for external shipment of analyses not performed in-house;

Requirements :

• DEC in Laboratory Techniques or Biotechnologies or any other related discipline;

• Experience in a laboratory (asset);

• Fluency in French;

• Knowledge of chemical parameter analysis;

• Organized, autonomous, proactive, able to analyze and synthesize, and able to work under pressure;
