Join our team as a Chemistry Laboratory Technician! Under the supervision of the Laboratory Coordinator, you will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of chemical samples, as well as the maintenance of equipment and workstations.


Your responsibilities:

  • Plan and prioritize the analyses in collaboration with the supervisor to ensure timely results;

  • Perform sample extraction, digestion and bottling procedures;

  • Perform analyses according to established protocols;

  • Monitor problem cases and anomalies in coordination with the Technical Supervisor;

  • Enter data and results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS);

  • Maintain equipment according to established procedures;

  • Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory, including work areas, laundry and autoclave;

  • Contribute to compliance with ISO 17025 standards and quality assurance requirements;

  • Participate in pre-analytical process activities, including the creation of computer queries, the receipt and identification of samples, as well as the external dispatch of analyses not performed in-house and the preparation of bottle shipments to customers;

  • Respect and promote the health and safety rules in force in the laboratory, as well as those specific to the position;

Job requirements

Requirements :

  • College diploma (DEC) in laboratory or biotechnology or other related discipline;

  • Minimum 1 year laboratory experience;

  • Fluency in French;

  • Knowledge of chemical parameter analysis;

  • Knowledge of GC-MS, HPLC or ICP-MS (asset);

  • Ability to work independently, analytically and synthetically;

  • Proactive and able to work under pressure;
